Radiology is the specialization of medicine that uses the images of X-Ray and other imaging techniques to diagnose the disease and injury of patient. Students of this program are taught Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, General physics & electronics, Atomic & nuclear physics, Mathematics, Pathology, Community medicine, Radio diagnosis, Radiation Oncology and Radiation Physics.
- Eligiblity criteria
Candidate should have passed 10+2 Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects
Students who have completed 2 years long Diploma in Radiology course may secure admission directly in 2nd year of B.Sc Radiology program. This entry is known as the lateral entry.
After completing degree in this field one will become Radiologist (MD), Radiology Technologists/ Radiographer, Radiology Technicians, Ultrasound MRI Technician, CT Scan Technologist.
